Newton led the design team responsible for delivering full architectural services to the
International Broadcast Center (IBC). The largest building in the Barra Olympic Park (18.5 acres) was designed to host all broadcasting activities during the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
The Construction drawings complied with strict building requirements regarding power consumption, data, acoustics, and temperature control of this 24-hour operation venue.
